Tech Mahindra collaborates with MKI to address the shortfall of SAP-skilled workforce

On 28th May 2019, Tech Mahindra publicized its alliance with Mitsui Knowledge Industry (MKI). The collaboration is in order to develop next-generation digital enterprise solutions, in the Japanese market. Tech Mahindra and MKI collaborated in order to focus on the shortfall of SAP skilled workforce. They will be required to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

 

What is SAP?

Systems Applications and Products (SAP) is a Data Processing software which helps organizations to fight the damaging effects of complexity, generate new opportunities for innovation and growth.

 

 

What is SAP ERP?

SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) is an on-premises Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which is used by organizations to manage their day to day business processes & activities. ERP is a business process management software that allows an organization to use a system of integrated applications. Furthermore, ERP is to manage the business and automate many back-office functions related to technology, services and human resources.

 

Moreover, ECC software integrates digital information. The creation of ECC software is in one area of business with data from other areas of the same business in real-time. SAP ERP provides a unified view of enterprise resources to managers. This helps them to make data-driven decisions in order to optimize core business processes.

 

 

What is S/4HANA?

S/4HANA in the new version of SAP. S/4HANA offers the organization to carry out its business processes aligned with the new digital economy. Further, this new version offers simplified User Interface, Data models, and Applications. S/4HANA also empowers the enterprises to connect to the machines and customers at an accelerated pace.

 

The alliance of Tech Mahindra and MKI is aiming to create a 600-member engineering pool in Japan and India by 2025. Tech Mahindra will be bringing 300 members out of this pool. Furthermore, Both Tech Mahindra and MKI will lend tools, technologies, and best practices. In order to manage pre-sales, assessment, requirement gathering, implementation and support the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

 

On May 29,2019, the stocks of Tech Mahindra closed at Rs. 740, it increased by 2.85% from the previous closing.
