In the Recent News, Jaguar Land Rover has now opened bookings for three of its Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) offerings - the Range Rover Sport SVR, SV Autobiography Dynamic and SV Autobiography LWB which will be launched in India on June 28, 2018.
According to its Managing Director, these are the fastest and most capable Land Rover SUV models that offer better ground performance along with all terrain capabilities. These models have been upgraded with some changes such as; they have included carbon fibre bonnet, light sports seats and chassis in order to improve the performance of Range Rover Sport SVR.
In line with the visual updates rolled out for the rest of the Range Rover family, the three SVO sport models are similar to the Velar's. The new features that all three models consist are Pixel Laser LED headlamps, new front and rear bumpers that have been redesigned, tail-lamps have been modified etc. In order to improve its cooling and braking the SVR is been provided with a carbon fibre bonnet, and new lightweight SVR performance seats.
With its 5.0 litre V8 supercharger the Range Rover Sports SVR is the fastest SUV for Land Rover. Its engine generates 575PS and can reach 0-100kmph in time of just 4.5 seconds. According to the company report they have stated that engineers at SVO have given their full focus on damping hardware due to which the mid-corner grip, body control and turn-in of the new model has improved.
The Range Rover SV Autobiography gets 565PS and 5.0 litre power train with a wheelbase of 2.92 meter in a dynamic form, while its other long wheelbase version gets 340PS and 4.4 litre engine option which has a wheelbase of 3.12 meter.
The feature of the SV Autobiography consists of a class-comfort seating arrangement that comes with deployable centre console, huge number of seating variations that also consists of ‘Hot-Stone’ massage seat. The car also has Pixel-Laser LED headlights, refrigerator, power-close rear doors and a signature sound system. It also gets body-colored side vent graphics that are designed by chrome inserts. This model is specially designed for performance that has high tech exhaust and suspension setup, tuned chassis, turbo power steering etc.
With this update we can conclude that the SVR is more powerful as it has supercharged 5.0-litre V8 that makes 575hp and 700Nm, and can reach 0-100kmph in just 4.5 seconds. Its long wheelbase version gets 340PS and 4.4 litre engine option which has a wheelbase of 3.12 meter and 740Nm of torque, as well as the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol. The SV Autobiography only gets the supercharged V8 petrol option. All three get an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

The SVO models are showing a great sign in the offerings of both SUVs that supports Land Rover’s legacy of excellence in style.”

• The Range Rover Sport SVR is priced at Rs 1.97 crore.
• The SV Autobiography Dynamic is priced at Rs 3.11 crore,
• The SV Autobiography EWB is priced at Rs 3.88 crore.
