Giving a quick note of the last closings of the market, the benchmark BSE Sensex rose 30.13 points (+0.10%) to settle at 30,464.92.
BSE Midcaps and BSE 100 ended in a negative zone falling 0.10% and 0.03% respectively. ITC, Hindustan Unilever and Axis Bank were major gainers while HDFC Bank and TCS were the major losers.
The NSE NIFTY remained flat by falling 1.55 points (-0.02%) to close at 9,427.90.
In U.S. market, Dow Jones climbed a whopping 141.82 (+0.69%) to 20,804.84. NASDAQ grossed higher by 28.57 points (+0.47%) to 6,083.70.
In Asia, Nikkei was at 19.649.24 up 58.48 points while Hang Seng gained 211.33 points (+0.84%).
In commodities, Brent oil was up at $ 54.08 while U.S.WTI was at $ 50.80.
Rupee fell to the USD by closing at 64.99. Rupee was 72.29 per Euro and 84.18 per British Pound.
